Teachers comment: 22.8.07- You are way behind. Where is your brainstorm, your questions and your hypothesized answers?
Teacher comment 30.8.07 You are all doing fairly well. You need to have all your questions answered by tomorrow. You have had at least 5 hours at school and this has also been part of your homework all week. I know that you wanted to telephone the police today to get some answers and we can do that tomorrow morning. Once you have finalized all your answers, you will be able to identify your gap. You can then start to plan what you are going to do. You are way behind on your reflections. Please get these up to date. I will chat to you tomorrow. Mrs. M
Teacher comment 7.09.07You are now more on track and I think that you are more aware of how important your questioning stage is. Without good questions which ask tease out specific information, you would not be able to identify your gap. The next thing that you have to do is get some parents to help you. I think that we will receive an email from Barbara on Monday. If not we will have to phone her to find out where you are going to work on Wednesday. You then need to give me this information so that I can write a letter asking your parents for permission for you all to leave the school. Try to put together a flow diagram to show your plan of action. You also need to look at your reflections. At this stage of the year I would expect more depth in your reflections. Let me know how you feel about using a wiki for collaborative construction of information. Let me know how your group is going, some of the difficulties that you may be experiencing etc.
